Crafted in  exquisite fine bone china, Royal Doulton Pretty Ladies cantare-the movement and poignant grace of a young lady, with satins, silk, flowers, lace and billowing gowns. Each figure is beautifully hand-made and hand-decorated demonstrating excellent craftsmanship and artistry.

 
Pretty Ladies are delicately hand-painted in the finest detail using an extensive colour palette This decoration is accentuated by the gleaming translucence of the fine bone china body. Beautiful faces, expressive poses and flowing gowns are the essence of these figures, with embossed detail included in many subjects Each figure bears the prestigious Royal Doulton backstamp and a unique reference number.

Designer Neil Faulkner has captured wonderfully true flavour of the quintessential Royal Doulton figurine for the Figure of the Year 2010, Sophie. The style and sense of movement are subtly in evidence and are further enriched by the use of deep red tones in the colouration of her dress. The intricate floral detail around the edge of the dress is complemented beautifully with a cluster of flowers adorned to her wrist and in her hair.

Sophie is the twentieth Figure of the Year, with production strictly limited to 2010, the year of issue.
